Here's a brain bending question for you. Though most dead genres see a revival at some point or another, we're probably never going to see a true silent film again (not a "genre", alas, and technology has moved on)... but wouldn't that be a cool mini trend to see some great auteurs try? I mean aside from
Guy Maddin.
