I know the Guy Ritchie/Madonna breakup was all over the internets yesterday but I was choosing to ignore. I wanted those two crazy kids (both with new movies!) to be happy. But with reps having confirmed the oft rumored divorce for the first time, Guy & Madonna are officially no more. I'm wondering how Maddy is feeling about singing "Miles Away" each night on her Sticky & Sweet tour. It's so obviously one of her autobioromantical (word? sure!) songs like "Til Death Do Us Part" was about Sean or like I pretend various randy songs were about Tony Ward and a few other tuneswere about Carlos Leon. Remember how cute/stylin' Guy & Madge were in 2000, promoting each other's new projects, his (Snatch) and hers (Music)
Sigh. Frown. Sniffle.I could post a million YouTube clips of them arm in arm being funny/snarky (there are so many) but it'd only make me sadder. Now we'll never have another Swept Away. Improbably this makes me sad.
